HUMM Accountancy
A simple business website design project for a local accountancy firm.
HUMM is based in southwest London and provides a comprehensive range of accounting, taxation, business advisory and book keeping services.
By focusing on providing a professional, cost effective and personal service HUMM has quickly grown its client base to include a diverse array of Clients all with their own particular requirements.
The Brief
Jenny, the director of HUMM Accountancy brief Little Shock to produce her a web presence for her business, with a small available budget and limited content. Jenny requested that her site met the minimum requirements for modern day web design and would serve as a shop window for her services. A simple project to undertake.
The Process
Using the company colours, some sourced stock photography and input with content from Jenny, we worked closely together to create a basic website that Jenny would be happy to show to her clients.
As a business that functions with Jenny at it’s core, we decided to focus on her, her education, qualifications, client base and achievements. As this is the commodity that clients buy.
To ensure that the Humm Accountancy website was future proofed, we created a mobile optimised site that is responsive ‘on the fly’ and adjusts to any size of modern mobile and tablet screen.
It is more important than ever to have a mobile compatible website, as over half of all web sessions now take place on a mobile.
The Result
By communicating with Jenny at HUMM through the entire process, we were able to deliver her a website she was happy with, without going over budget. The website itself is basic and minimal, but suits the business, is functional and very easy to navigate.
This has given the business a good start to it’s online presence, and a solid footing to getting new customers.
Little Shock continues to work with Jenny and after this project, we hired HUMM as our own business accountant!
